TEACHING SECRETARY
The General Secretariat of the University is the university unit that performs executive functions as a management body for the processes of general registration, documentation and issuance of certificates of the Higher Education Center, as well as the guidance and methodological control of the work carried out in the teaching secretariats of university faculties and guarantees the registration, processing, control, custody and preservation of the documentation, that corresponds to it, related to the postgraduate education developed by the institution.
The Provincial Income Commission
It guarantees the strict application of the rules and procedures of the system of admission to higher education. Plan, organize, execute and control all processes and tasks related to entering higher education in the province, in compliance with the schedule of activities for each course, establishing the necessary coordination with the municipal income commissions, the Provincial Government, the Higher education centers of the territory, political and student bodies, provincial directorates of agencies and entities related to the income system.

Procedure for the validation of photocopies of undergraduate and graduate degrees:
Only photocopies of graduates from the University of Granma, the University of Pedagogical Sciences Blas Roca Calderío and the Faculty of Physical Culture will be validated (photocopies of Master's degrees prior to 2016 are not legalized).
This procedure is developed to take effect in national territory and abroad. To be valid abroad, the process must be done through the International Legal Consulting or the International Law Firm.
In order for the legalization to take effect in the national territory, you should contact the General Secretariat of the University (Carretera a Manzanillo Km / 17 Peralejo - Section 21 - Bayamo MN Postal Code 85149 - Granma - Cuba) or the office attached to it at Blas Headquarters Roca Calderío (Manzanillo).
Present:
• The request of the entity that requires the document or the postgraduate program to enroll (should not be in a personal capacity). It must state the reasons why legalization is requested and must be duly signed and coined.
• Up to three photocopies of the title you intend to collate.
Procedure for the application for certification of completed studies:
Every university graduate has the right to be granted, for once, the certification of completed studies along with the degree.
The Faculty Secretariat or subsidiary prepares and issues the certification of completed studies to graduates, in their year of graduation. This certification relates, by school year, the subjects established in the plan of the teaching process taken by the student and the grades obtained. After the list of subjects, the entry “Only for use in the national territory” is always added. It is signed by the Dean of Faculty or Director of Subsidiary and the Teaching Secretary.
In exceptional cases with full justification, this document is issued a second time. Only certifications from graduates to graduates of the University of Granma are issued.

Issuance of titles and literal copies:
The graduate degree, whether undergraduate or graduate, is issued only once. In this case there are no exceptionalities.
Faced with the loss, damage, theft, destruction or loss of suitable document, a certified literal copy of the title or diploma may be issued by the Rector, endorsed by the Secretary General of the Center that issues it, the text literally corresponds to the original issued on the day , with the names of the competent academic authorities that signed it which is considered
Fechas de solicitudes del reingreso:
La dependencia donde se origina el trámite es la Secretaría Docente de Facultad o Filial, que puede concluir en la Secretaría General según las características del reingreso. Son responsables de ejecutar el procedimiento el Secretario Docente, el Secretario General y los técnicos de las secretarías.
Los cargos que aprueban los reingresos a la Educación Superior son:
- El Decano de la Facultad: aprueba los reingresos de los estudiantes que causaron baja en la propia facultad, o en otras facultades de la misma universidad.
- El Director de Filial Universitaria: aprueba los reingresos de los estudiantes que causaron bajas en la propia filial o en otras filiales de la misma universidad.
- El Rector: certifica los reingresos en la propia universidad, de estudiantes que causaron baja en facultades y filiales de otras universidades.
Las solicitudes de reingreso a la Educación Superior las originan:
- Los estudiantes que causaron baja en la misma universidad en que solicitan reingresar. El reingreso puede ser en la misma facultad o filial, u otra.
- Los estudiantes que causaron baja en una universidad y solicitan reingresar en otra.
- Todo estudiante que aspire reingresar a la Educación Superior, presenta su solicitud por escrito, en los meses de mayo y junio, en la Secretaría Docente de la facultad o filial universitaria donde se imparte la carrera en la que aspira a reingresar. Si el estudiante causó baja en otra universidad, debe presentar la notificación de baja aprobada y una certificación de calificaciones de las asignaturas cursadas. Ambos documentos expedidos por la Secretaría Docente de la facultad o filial de donde proviene.
Fechas de solicitudes de cambio de carrera y traslados de forma general:
Todo estudiante que aspire a cambiar de carrera, presenta su solicitud por escrito, en los meses de mayo y junio a la Secretaría Docente de la Facultad en la cual estudia.
Procedimiento para el acto de matrícula:
En la última semana de agosto el estudiante que obtuvo una carrera universitaria debe llamar a la Universidad para conocer la fecha de matrícula lo cual ocurre generalmente en esta propia semana y la primera de septiembre. Para el acto de matrícula el estudiante debe presentarse en la sede de la universidad donde se estudia la carrera que le llegó donde se debe dirigir a la Secretaría docente de la Facultad que atiende dicha carrera. Debe presentar los siguientes documentos:
- Carné de identidad en buen estado y debidamente actualizado.
- Certificación de notas de la enseñanza precedente debidamente firmada y acuñada, sin enmiendas, tachaduras o borrones.
- Los diferidos presentarán Boleta de licenciamiento entregada por la Unidad militar de las FAR donde realizó el SMA, los no aptos FAR deben aparecer en el listado que emite el MINFAR y que avala la Dirección de Ingreso y Ubicación Laboral del MES.
- 4 fotos tipo carné 1x1.
Nota: Debe existir coincidencia entre los datos de todos los documentos.
