Procedures and Services

For the procedures carried out in the Vehicle Registry, the following documents must be presented:

 Natural Persons: Vehicle in good technical and clean condition, identity card, circulation of the vehicle, if there is a special power of attorney or its empowerment, the representative with all the required documents.

 Legal Entities: all documents of the vehicle to be processed, credential of the representative, circulation of the vehicle and being in good technical and clean condition.

VEHICLE REGISTRATION

1. Transfer: $60.00 national currency.  All the documents of the notary must be presented, plus the payment of the bank.
2.  Entity name change: $5.00 national currency.  For legal entities, the resolutions issued by the higher body.
3.  Color change: $10.00 national currency.  The vehicle correctly painted and without excessive accessories (flags, signs or other visible objects).
4.  Engine or bodywork recording: $20.00 national currency.  In legal entities, when it is for bodywork, a document issued by the institution that carried out the work, signed by its directors, will be presented. In the event that it is acquired without a number, the invoice must specify that it does not have a number.  In the private sector, the number of the engine or bodywork will be recorded, which will be done by the inspectors and bosses if its recording is approved.
5.  Change of fuel: $20.00 national currency.  This is done when the vehicles change engine and fuel in the state and private sector; transport files are prepared, presenting the FICAV document.
6.  Change of model: $20.00 national currency.  This procedure is when the vehicles continue with the same brand, the corresponding factors must be presented for both sectors.
7.  Change of brand: $20.00 national currency.  In the legal sector, the corresponding invoices will be presented.
8.  Change of bodywork: $20.00 national currency.  In the legal sector, the corresponding invoices and documents of the company will be presented.
9.  Change of class/type: $10.00 national currency.  For both sectors documents issued by transport.
10.  Change of tonnage: $20.00 national currency.  For both sectors documents issued by transport.
11.  Initial Registration: $40.00 national currency.  They will be made to both sectors presenting official documents (purchase invoice).
12.  Change of license: $40.00 national currency.  It is done when changes are made to any vehicle data.
13.  License plate change: $40.00 national currency.  It is done when required for both sectors.
14.  Duplicate of circulation license: $ 80.00 national currency.  It will be carried out for both sectors due to loss or deterioration of the same.
15.  License plate duplication: $80.00 national currency.  It will be carried out for both sectors due to loss or deterioration of the same.
16.  Engine change: $10.00 national currency.  They will be made to both sectors presenting documents issued by transport or invoices when it is the same brand and fuel.  The FICAV document will be required for both sectors.
17.  Re-registration: $10.00 national currency for both sectors.
18.  Re-inspection: $5.00 national currency for both sectors.
19.  Certificate: $ 5.00 national currency.  File officials will be requested personally, presenting the required documentation for both sectors.
20.  Change of sticker: $5.00 national currency.  It is made to both sectors when it is expired or deteriorated.
21. Discharge of the vehicle: $ 5.00 national currency.  This will be carried out for the state sector by presenting all the documents approved by the superior body of the entity.
