Ciget Granma was created in 2000, forming part of the territorial structures of the vertical system of the Institute of Scientific and Technological Information (Idict), which belongs to the Agency for Nuclear Energy and Advanced Technology (Aenta) and is subordinate to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (Citma).
