ARTICLE 14. Presentation of the application.  The legal owner of the vehicle, once the technical project has been prepared, makes the request to the administrative transport authority by presenting the following documents:

 For natural persons:

1.  The model "APPLICATION FOR CHANGE AND CONVERSION", according to Annex No. 1 of this Resolution;
2.  The technical project for which the conversion or repowering will be carried out.
3.  Photocopy of the Circulation License or certification of registration in the Vehicle Registry;
4.  Three (3) photos of the vehicle (before the change or conversion was made) from different positions;
5.  Proof of having paid the tax on land transportation in accordance with the provisions of the tax system law;
6.  Power of attorney if the processor is not the legal owner of the vehicle.
7.  A photocopy of the identity card of the person carrying out the procedure.

 After the Approval of the beginning of the change or conversion [Annex No 2] is delivered, they must deliver [Article 15.3]:

•  Copy of the document of acquisition of the motor or of the installed components,
•  Copy of the work order and the invoice for the work carried out,
•  At least three photographs of the vehicle, after the change or conversion has been made, showing the general appearance of the motor vehicle and details of the work carried out.
•  Certification of the reception of the replaced bodywork or engine, issued by the authorized entity.
•  Copy of certification of the automotive technical review declaring the vehicle fit to circulate.

The transport administrative authority analyzes the technical project and the request made and verifies all the necessary aspects, including that the selected workshop meets the requirements established in this Regulation and within a period not exceeding 30 calendar days from the date of the request, issues the attached approval document No. 3. APPROVAL OF THE CONVERSION OR REMOTORIZATION or disapproves its execution.

 The work must be carried out within a period not exceeding one calendar year following the date of approval of annex No. 2.

1.  The model "APPLICATION FOR CHANGE AND CONVERSION", according to Annex No. 1 of these regulations;
2.  The technical project for which the conversion or repowering will be carried out.
3.  Administrative resolution of declaration as basic means of the vehicle.
4.  Certification of registration in the Vehicle Registry or photocopy of circulation;
5.  Three (3) photos of the vehicle (before the change or conversion was made) from different positions;
6.  For one time only, a certified copy of the maximum head of the entity of the document that accredits the natural person who, in legal representation of the legal person, will be authorized to carry out the procedures related to the changes and conversions.
7.  Photocopy of the identity card of the entity's representative.
8. Proof of having paid the tax on land transportation in accordance with the provisions of the tax system law;
